With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with the DE MONFORT PLATE EPNS A1 mark and engraved on the blades with the De Monfort SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark. All knives have superior quality hollow handles that are made from Ivorine that are attached to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades. Ivorine is a man made resin of the highest quality. The much-admired handles of these knives are very hygienic and really add an extra touch of style to your table setting. This is a lovely vintage set that looks like it has not bee use with some pieces still having the original wax paper sleeves on them. It has been recently polished so is clean and ready to use. The wooden canteen does have a few scratch marks on the lid as per the photos but has done a good job looking after its contents.
